45th BCS Examination Date and Notice

Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released Civil Service Recruitment Circular 2022 through 45th BCS Exam. BPSC will recruit a total of 2309 posts through this year's BCS exam. The recruitment process will be done in three stages: preliminary, written and finally viva.

There are 524 posts in general cadre, 1239 posts in professional or technical cadre and 437 posts in general education in this recruitment process. Total number of non-cadre posts is 1022. Only certain candidates can apply for professional or technical cadre posts. A candidate can apply for both general and technical cadre posts if eligible.

Any Bangladeshi between the ages of 21 to 30 can apply for the 45th BCS exam. Applicants with quota can apply upto 32 years of age. A student can apply even if the exam result is not published. In this case, the student has to complete the written test before the last date of application. Employed candidates can also apply.

The application period for preliminary examination will start from 10th December and end on 31st December. BPSC informed that the exam is likely to be held in the second week of March 2023.

Applicants can apply through Teletalk website “bpsc.teletalk.com.bd” or BPSC official website. bpsc.gov.bd is the website address of Bangladesh Public Service Commission. Apply by filling BPSC Form-1. While applying, the candidate needs to attach a 300 x 300 px photograph with a maximum size of 100 KB and a 300 x 80 px signature with a maximum size of 60 KB.

You have to attach a photograph and signature while filling BPSC Form-1. After applying you will get a user ID, then you have to pay the application fee from Teletalk SIM. After paying the fee, you will receive a User ID and Password through SMS, after which you can login and download the admit card. Don't forget to save the user ID and password for later use. 45th BCS exam fee is Rs.700.

A candidate has to clear written and viva test after preliminary and get selected. The preliminary exam will be in MCQ format and carry 200 marks. Candidates who clear the prelims can appear in the written test of 900 marks. Then there is viva exam of 200 marks. Recruitment will be based on the result of 1100 marks in written and viva.

Preliminary and written examination centers are located at various centers in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, Rangpur and Mymensingh. Candidates can select their preferred center location while filling the application form.
